Which Measurement We Require for Belt StrapsLay your current leather belt strap out flat on a surface and measure from the fold where the buckle joins the leather to the hole that you use most of the time when wearing you belt. This measurement is the only one we need and is added to the drop down on this product page or any other product page for belt straps. Also remember that the 2 inch black leather belt strap with Chicago screws comes as standard without a slot for a prong style buckle. If you need it slotted please let us know when ordering.
Black 2" Inch 50mm Leather Strap Chicago ScrewsIf you are buying the 2 Inch Leather Strap with Chicago Screws for American Style or Western Buckles please measure the clasp on your buckle to make sure it will accommodate a 2 inch wide belt strap. You will probably find that it will be a snug fit but 2 inches will fit some belt straps.
All handmade to measure leather belts and leather belt straps are made to order from full grain leather hides. Most of our buckles are solid brass if you are unclear whether the buckle you are purchasing is solid brass please message us. The silver version of our solid brass buckles are nickel plate.
The best way to determine the external waist size required is by measuring an existing belt.
Measure from the end of the prong on the buckle to the hole used most when wearing.
