How Wide is this Italian Leather Jean Belt?
The width of the Leather Jean Belt is 1 and 3/4 inches and will fit most Jeans and Trousers. When choosing your waist size please remember it’s your External Waist Measurement that we need. This is over the garments or clothing that you will be wearing with your new belt, Jeans, T Shirt etc.
Make sure you include External Waist Measurement
The easiest way to determine your external waist size is to measure an existing belt that fits. When measuring your leather belt, measure from the tip of the pin to the hole that you use and we will make this measurement the centre whole of 5 on your new belt.

nothing unusual about the belt like any other $20 leather I bought at Amazon or Macys except it’s width 1 3/4 inch. shipping costs more than a $20 belt but unreliable to track and pack in plastic envelope. I’d be embarrassed to recommend to a friend or family.

Around 35 years ago whilst wondering the streets of Athens I found a handmade leather belt maker in one of the back streets. I bought a fabulous leather belt with thick, supple brown leather and a simple heavy brass buckle. I still wear this belt daily, though it has gained a few cracks regardless of the care its received. The last few years I have been on the lookout for a replacement but all I can find is literally rubbish compared to my Greek belt. My recent purchase from Buckle my Belt is the closest I can find, though still only just not up to the same standard, though this could be rose tinted specs and nostalgia. What I will say is that it is by far the best replacement I have found, excellent quality and workmanship.
