Every belt is cut from full-grain leather, 3 to 5 mm thick, in widths from 1 inch to 4 inch, for men and women. What styles of leather belt do we make?
Everything from a slim dress belt to a 2 inch jean belt, in the same full-grain leather and the same made-to-size fit. Pick the style that matches how you will wear it.

Every style comes in eleven colours: black, dark brown, brown, chestnut, tan, natural, burgundy, red, navy, green and white. Natural is undyed leather in the hide's own skin tone, a pale flesh colour that deepens to a warm honey with wear and sun.
How do I measure my belt size?
Measure a belt you already wear; that is your belt size, and we make the new belt so that measurement is the centre hole. It takes a minute and it is the reason our belts fit first time.
- Lay a belt you wear now flat on a table, buckle attached.
- Measure from the end of the buckle to the hole you use most.
- That figure, in inches, is your belt size. Enter it at checkout.
- No belt to measure? Measure over your clothing, through the belt loops of the trousers you will wear it with, in the position the belt will sit.

Which belt width should I choose?
Start with your belt loops; the width has to pass through them, and each width suits a different kind of trouser. If you are between two, the narrower one always fits and the wider one may not.

What is the difference between full-grain and genuine leather?
Full-grain is the top layer of the hide with its natural grain intact; genuine leather is a lower layer sanded or coated to look the part. They are not the same product, whatever the label says.

How thick is a good leather belt?
Ours run 3 to 5 mm depending on the style: nearer 3 mm for a dress belt, up to 5 mm for a heavy casual or workwear belt. That is thick enough to hold its shape and mould to you over time without being stiff on the first day. Leather that thick gives a little with wear; it does not stretch, which is why the belt size you give us matters more than a generic length.
How are our leather belts made?
By hand, in our UK workshop, one belt at a time, since 2010. We cut the strap from full-grain hide at the width you choose, punch the holes so your size sits in the centre, fit the buckle and finish the edges, and the tip sits 7 inches past the centre hole once fastened. Your belt goes into the workshop when you order and leaves in 3 to 5 working days; if you change your mind on size or colour, tell us within 48 hours and we will change it before it is cut.
How do I look after a leather belt?
Very little. Keep it dry, let it air at room temperature if it gets wet, and rub in a small amount of leather conditioner once or twice a year. Full-grain leather does not need more than that, and it will look better in five years than it does today. Our belt care guide covers the rest.
